Just a quick update.

I restructured the site and been cleaning it up and getting the technicalities sorted out. I also improved the looks a little. The contact page is updated and out of maintenance. I also got rid of as much of externally loaded content as possible. Now everything is being served from this server except for avatars coming from Gravatar and the PayPal donate button image. But maybe I could host that image by myself. I need to check if WordPress (software) has avatar hosting of its own so that I can stop using Gravatar. I wonder if I should keep Gravatar on for comments or not. Gravatar can easily be turned off for the comment section. Turns out that’s not true.

The contact page uses reCAPTCHA though. 😓 Will look into alternatives.
